NBR PAYBACK DAYS AUTHIORIZED FOR USE: 1

Not sure how or when I earned that but now that I have it, what can I do with it? :D

I have a line this month but am on reserve next month. Can I use it to replace one of my on call days? Any usage restrictions?

Thanks Scoop

Put it on the trip you have this month with the highest time first day. It will drop the trip and pay the first day's value. Then white slip / green slip something.

The ME carriers well be very desperate for pilots at some point. I foresee US bases.I think if they they add the housing allowance to the salary they pay US-based pilots, then it will cause DAL, AA, UAL + TO have some pilot retention problems, and even more initial hiring problems than the will have without the ME US-based pilots.

Qatar doesn't have them either, at least not yet. I think your friend is full of BS. Try again :)

I'm beginning to think you're correct. Friend didn't know what they were talking about. A quick check revealed Qatar does have a 50 billion order including 13 A380's and 80 A350's but none have been delivered yet. My friend told me Qatar was making a big deal about their newest airplane. An "Ayy three eighty or something like that". Who knows what it really was. My friend is not an aviation buff. None the less they said this flight experience blew US carriers away. Take if for what it's worth.

So basically, Boeing loves loves the EX-IM (they get 80% of the EX-IM money) because it helps them sell airplanes to foreign carriers cheaply, many of whom have no competition at home and are government "supported".

Delta and ALPA don't like the EX-IM because those cheap WB planes are then turned around and flown to the U.S. undercutting Delta's international service.

So we want more WB flying here but constantly have to give way to foreign carriers flying in 773s with "awesome service" for less, amirite?

Obama (years ago) called it corporate welfare, Rand Paul says "I don't think taxpayer-subsidized loans should go to profitable companies", Anderson doesn't like it, Moak says it harms U.S. airlines and their workers, Tsquare doesn't like it and FTB doesn't like it.

I mean Tsquare + FTB, get the hell out of the way people. http://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/j/jarksaber.gif http://e.deviantart.net/emoticons/j/jarksaber.gif

Now if Boeing is going to go out of the airline business over this, and RA is pushing for this to apply only to WBs btw, then Boeing truly is a ship without a rudder. But I'm open to hearing the other side of this.

Y'all think Boeing is the only one engaged in this?

Airbus Buys German Bank for In-House Finance Unit

And you think this has NOTHING to do with the recent WTO ruling? Ya, right!

Congress should wake up and assert itself in favor of American businesses.

Congress is being paid by American Business CEO's, to allow as much outsourcing to anywhere with cheaper labor costs than US Labor. Their operating profits go up, they get paid, you get laid off, not that anyone in Congress cares about you...

You can also try and pickup a high time turn and drop it. Using it to cover a reserve day is not nearly as cost effective.

If senior enough, you can drop a one-day trip...and then WS it back.
