It's just what I am seeing from here.

FTB, I tried to PM you but your mail box is full. My daughter is interested in the Aviation program at AU.

Yep, that is good news. They are deploying the 717s in some markets that have never seen mainline service which is interesting. At the very least, that creates an interesting study on population dynamics in the 20 years since the outsourcing scheme really took hold to see what can now support that size aircraft. It also behooves us to be cognizant of what aircraft we have parked even since the merger.

For example, NW only used to fly prop aircraft to TRI... we are going to 2 airbuses a day next week (either that or it already started this week) out of ATL.

You crazy 717 guys are stealing our Airbus flying out of Atl! ;) (AGS, TRI, and so on)

I think there is some talking past each other for the positive and negative spinners. In reality, both are sort of right. Yes, the 717 is basically replacing DC9 flying that had been lost when they were parked (there were a lot more than 17), and yes the 717 is growth off of our low spot.

We do have GNV now, that was a CRJ route wasn't it? The 88 took Chattanooga a while back, that was good to see.

I don't mind if we steal ROA from you and PHF from CR2s.

Conquering the world from... underneath.

You can delete the number. And I'll go delete the PM box.

Thanks FTB, it was great to see the junior Bus A at 8400 plus on the bid.

How about….. when your seniority percentile grows faster than the list shrinks. Growth to me is wide body growth, so everyone moves up, not just some churning in the mid seniority level.

More Captain slots, better W2.....that can't be a bad thing!

Its good to see the scope recapture of C2012 create more Delta pilot flying and Delta pilot jobs. :)

GNV is a growing area.. It's gone from turboprops to 50 seaters to jumbo RJs, and now mainline service. That's what I was saying how it's interesting to see the dynamics of a growing population that can now support a mainline size aircraft.

I bet yall will see ROA as they begin to reconfigure the 319s early next year, and PHF has been jumbo RJs and some mainline in the past, so that's a logical area. I think most cities that see primarily jumbo RJ usage now will find a 717 passing through.

As they park 50s and the jumbo RJs take over where those were, you'll see some more cities return that have the economics to do so.

I don't get how you attribute this to C2012... the company would have been absolutely stupid to not get the 717s. The 50 seaters were being parked anyways. What you're seeing is the natural economics of the dying outsourcing bubble with a proactive management team taking advantage of it.
