There were no meaningful gains financially from the table positions before the no overtime effort .
Heck, I flew for a Delta subsidiary and even I was getting yelled at by other employees for getting paid too much :( In reality I was earning about what a Delta FA paid in income tax. It wasn't fun and it is imagined to have been more demotivating/demoralizing for the actual pilots on the property. |

What if this happens again? I mean, most of us are team players, but management made pilots out to be the villains during those days. If that's the case we might just not want to go to work as much as we used to.

I loved one statement in a conference call where we were called "the chosen ones".
We also carry the greatest risk of catastrophic loss for the airline outside of the C-level suites. So that requires compensation commensurate with risk assumed. |

And if by "the chosen ones", you (them not you Sailing) mean "have a union". Then yes, yes we are.

So are you bidding reserve and acknowledging 3 hours out?
You have go to stand up for yourself and other union members when you know you are right. Tip.....know you are right, and you will be fine. Keep the union in the loop. Nothing is going to change as long as we capitulate to unilateral contract changes. |

I'm following the contract, not the memo. Have been on the phone with the ALPA scheduling genious a lot, had CPO threats and they even dug out my families phone number from my emergency contact section and they called that too. Real classy.

Purple,
I'm not able to afford as many PD's as Delta is willing and able to hand out for acknowledging a trip while on long call inside 10 hours but outside of 3. Without trying, I picked up two in a month. It is enough to make you bid crappy trips and never see home Thursday-Sunday. SFWB |

No waivers. No favors. I follow the contract, and All Pilot Memos. |
