Not quite 100% accurate. It is 6:00/day vacation and most duty periods, however they do not get it for training and some duty periods do not qualify for the 6:00; I don't understand all their rigs and rules, but I know that much.

Still, I'd like to see 5:15 for us and an eventual increase up to 6:00 (for everything)

Ah..my understanding was that it was 6 min for everything.

I agree that the next step is 5:15 for everything over here.

You need to take another look at their rates. 2014 757/767 rate as a example is 195 an hour at AMR and 220 an hour at Delta. I don't call that a few bucks. They don't have a rate after 2016. They published numbers using a 16.5 percent raise as a result of the parity review. They arrived at 16.5 percent assuming we continue to get raises beyond our current contract.

The point was that we no longer have the anchor that is USair with captains making less than our FOs. And remember those are bankruptcy payrates for them...

We are asking for a increase in the daily average as part of the 117 negotiations. The company spent quite a bit of time costing it out and as far as I know has not been receptive.

How much leverage do we have with 117 anyways? The company said they were quite happy with how 117 was going.

Although the GSs numbers are rather astounding.

Jan-Feb-Mar GS on ATLM88B
2013: 42 + 72 + 128 = 242 or 81 per month.
2014: 630 + 610 + 801 = 2041 or 680 per month.

Jan-Feb-Mar GS system wide
2013: 540 + 851 + 1396 = 2787 or 929 per month.
2014: 5335 + 4557 + 4908 = 14800 or 4933 per month.

but if nothing is being cancelled as was alluded to in the earnings call the other day then I guess they're content?

Sure would have been nice......

......if DALPA had been out in front on this. Sad they are not.

don't worry, shiznet. baby steps shouldn't be a problem.

Baby steps.

4% pay increase per month starting now for 6 months.

The concessions we made during bankruptcy are no longer necessary even to the biggest apologist.

Our executives get over 40% raises on their non concessionary pay and we get 3% with a 33% reduction in profit sharing.

The same old lies and threats will not work this time. Time to share in the success we created.

Just so we are on the same page I do not want an ADG. I want a minimum guarantee look forward so as not to ever be averaged.

That is because everything we get is costed out for the FA's also. They have been in full gift mode to the FA's giving them the additional pay for training, vacation, per diem etc. that we negotiated for the pilots. I for one am very tired of that being taken into account when we ask/negotiate for items.

I agree that we need more than we're getting at this point in time on the subject of reserve. That said, APA and AMR addressed changes to their PWA last year with respect to FAR 117, and it is that agreement that AMR is now violating. OTOH, we are still in negotiations on that issue.

Ahhh, gotcha. I see... A "minimum calendar day", not an average.. I like where you're headed with that.

Nope. FA's don't have daily anything close to what we have, and I don't think 117 even applies to them anyway.

How did you find that out? Aren't negotiating positions supposed to be confidential or am I missing something?
