It means you didn't get the trip because you it will put you too close to 100 scheduled block hours in a rolling 672 hours (28 days). Don't know exactly how big the buffer is.

It mean you are exceeding the buffer for 100 block hours in 28 days. FAR 117 rule.

You are trying to schedule yourself for over 100 block hour in 28 days? We have green slips you know.

He may already have a green slip or two.

How do you figure that? It is obvious to anybody paying any attention that the relationship with AS is on the rocks. Goldman Sachs downgraded AS because of the DAL competition!! So are you saying that you want to negotiate to have a section of the contract eliminated that will soon be moot? Really?

A colossal waste of money.

That leaves international. THE reason for this alliance is Heathrow. Period. It is a slot controlled airport, and they ain't giving any of that to us. The only growth we will see internationally will be a 50/50 on additional LHR slots, and that's if we're lucky.

Theoretically, according to you, it shouldn't cost a dime. It would be a good litmus test of their intentions on the left coast however. I agree there had been some growth out here, a lot of it is recovering routes we gave to Alaska several years back, but the absolute lack of any organic domestic operation of any significance is a bit unsettling.

yes and no. I have run against this in the past as well. In February I put most of my trips at the end of the month and in March I put them in the middle. I was passed over for a greenslip because of this.

When all you have is 5 day trips in category you can run up against this flying 75 hours a month.
