I don't think its a pilot. There are lots of people in and out of there.
Didn't they put in some cameras last time we had a wave of thefts?
Hopefully the chief pilot has some video of whoever is doing this.

How about locked bag storage in the aerobics (storage area) behind the Atlanta CPO?

This will get very interesting if people start carrying off our EFB's.

Ever been in that room after midnight? It's ramper and custodian and a few other groups that I didn't recognize central down there. I've had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights in the black chairs on the commute home.

Perhaps implement a policy that this is a pilot lounge (and we're hospitable to other Delta employees) but if you don't work for Delta Air Lines Inc., this is not the place to rest until your shift at vendor X is over.

It can't be a pilot if hats are missing.......

OK. I will admit that futbol was kinda fun to watch.
(although 0-0 after 120 minutes is pretty disappointing for the semis and final)
There's got to be some sort of rule change or something so teams will play to win instead of playing not to lose.

But anyway, now that's over, and ...

there's only six more weeks til real FOOTBALL !!

Why would you post a picture of TCU if you are talking about "real football"? This would be more appropriate.

I had the orange 2014 tag, and other name tags on it.
CP says that in an other theft, the thieves removed all the tags and switched the contents into another bag after stealing an I pad.....

We had this problem back in 05. I was fresh off of furlough and had my kit bag stolen from the old square room across from the CPO. Went in to talk to the CPO about it and they said I must have forgotten where I left it. (I knew this was not the case since I left it in the same place every time). So I did two searches from top to bottom and nothing. So I go back and talk to the same guy, he then chastised me for not having it in my locker. (I found out later he was a furloughee working as an FOM) When I asked for replacement jepps and FOM (the required carry items) they said it was my fault and had to pay for them myself. So I take my sorry butt to manual services where the lady working the counter says "What is happening out there, you are the fifth person to come in today because their kit was stolen?"

So long story short my home insurance covered the cost of replacing my kit and believe it our not my lap top that I used to leave inside of it. The CPO said that we would have secure doors leading into our lounge area and anyone that came in would have to scan their ID. That never happened. They even took away the lockers that they said I should have stored my kit inside. So if you do have something stolen call the airport police so they can do an incident report on it.

I also wonder if this is why we have a sign on the door to the NYC pilot lounge that says:
Pilots Only
any other work group found in this area without authorization will be subject to disciplinary actions by their department heads

Funny thing is the first person I ran into upon entering was a flight attendant.

Allowing an additional 70 jumbo RJ's never came up either, and any reduction in profit sharing had to be specifically authorized by the MEC before the negotiators could sign off on a TA. Yet the negotiators signed off anyway. I think Jerry is absolutely right about too often the reps are the last to know.

My concern is that it is a company/DALPA effort. Given what happened with CDO's during the 117 negotiations, the MEC admins see what can happen when pilots find stuff out in this era of social media. The concern is that this time the MEC admins will keep a tight lid on what they're planning with our management partners, and not release it until the signed TA is sitting in front of the reps to either sign or "ruin everything" by not signing.

Many of us are going to use social media to try and stop the MEC admins from doing this again. Don't know if we'll be successful, but we're going to try.

If you're talking about LGA, it's because our FAs and DCI pilots/FAs were going in the old lounge and sleeping in the chairs. Had one FA get mad at me because I wouldn't give up the last chair to her. She stormed out in huff when I told her not only no, but hell no! Also had to throw a DCI pilot out twice. Same guy.

I haven't been to work since sometime in June. Although, I usually don't pay attention to anything posted on the door. Just check the v file, sign in, and go find he rest of the crew. That said, I figured the sign above the door was enough to keep em out!
