Yes, it shows ALPA PAC paid money to 135 Democrat incumbents versus 92 Republican incumbents. But again, giving money to incumbents is just hedging your bets which doesn't show what your political leanings are. That's determined by who you support to unseat incumbents. In the case of ALPA PAC, it's almost total support for new Democrats and almost no support for new Republicans.

I'll leave it to others to decide which one of us is trying to deceive the membership. They can look at the lists and decide for themselves.

Carl

I don't really care who they are paying off. It ain't working.

And.....cue someone to say how worse off we would be if it were not for the flushing of money down the toilets of Penn Ave.

Let's debate new! Or we can wait until you get bumped down to the 73 in LA and we can chat on the red eye to RDU.:D;)

That city pair has always baffled me, why a red eye to RDU of all places. Can anyone shed light?

Yes sir! Bring it. :) We can talk sports and politics! Except, on the way to RDU it would probably be Starbucks Summit. (LAX needs to get their coffee situation together, by they way. :) )

Funny you should mention LAX and the 737. I told my wife if we are moving to the West Coast, now is the time to do it. :D

Ask, and ye shall receive.
RDU is extremely hi-tech - known as the "research triangle." Notable employers:
American Airlines, BASF, Bayer, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, The Body Shop, Burt's Bees, Cisco Systems, Credit Suisse Group, Duke University, Durham Public Schools, DuPont, Eaton, Fidelity Investments, Environmental Protection Agency, General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM, LabCorp, Lenovo, Netapp, North Carolina State Government (including the University of North Carolina system), Pfizer (Pfizer Poultry Health), Progress Energy, Qualcomm, Quintiles, Red Hat, Research Triangle Institute, SAS Institute, Sony Ericsson, Syngenta, Teleflex Medical, Toyota, United States Forest Service, Verizon, Wake County Public School System

I have to assume it's a good market from the west coast - maybe a west coast all night Bubba (hey Buzz) could confirm.

I'm suprised there aren't more red eyes. No slot or gate issues, no traffic, direct routing and its all bonus utilization and productivity, which makes block hour costs over all cheaper. Some airlines like JB used predominately red eyes for a long time to dramatically expand their route footprint with existing airframes. Every long haul international flight is a red eye.

People will build their own 2 airline 20 minute connection itinerary to save a dollar. They will and do fly red eyes and IMO from a marketing perspective we do way too few of them.

You have to watch 100 hours of Fox News, and not just Megyn Kelly stuff, just the regular stuff.

And listen to Rush Limbaugh for 3 months.

Then you can come to the beer summit that I am evidently having in my basement.
