And I'm not buying for one second your argument that displacing 747 captains is low cost. Especially if some of them will only be on the new equipment for a few months and then retire. Get real. Management doesn't "fully fund" anything out of the goodness of their hearts. They are offering to do it because it saves them money. |

I think we should have just left the 117 negotiations and this ER deal alone and told them we'll talk about this stuff in 2015. The company is getting everything that gives us leverage out of the way so that they can run the operation for a few years during record profits without negotiating a new contract. |
