So if we see a 25% raise on day one but have SDP's I should vote no? I don't want to have to make the decision to vote yes on a contract that is otherwise good but has SDP's snuck in. We shouldn't even have anything about those in the survey or in C2015. I thought they already figured out we didn't want those. They keep coming up because the company really wants them.

The value of their recovery is fixed. I don't know the exact share price it was fixed at, but that was much closer to when we exited bankruptcy. What they did with the stock after that does not change their recovery. I don't know if they held onto the stock or liquidated it. Either way it won't affect our PC-5 benefits.
It means they calculated the recovery based on a stock price in the teens.
What's it today? Right around $40? Ouch.
The hits just keep on comin' for us deadzoners.

I know there are still a few days before the AE bid closes, but I'm a low 11,XXX seniority # and there are only 17 pilots senior to me with a bid in for NYC717A. At this rate we might have 717 street Captains.

Well, here's some good news, bad news, so-so news.
Good news: we've purchased four of Singapore's 747-400's.
Bad news: we're using them for parts.
So-so news: wouldn't have done that if we were planning on dumping the entire fleet in the near term.
Also, the first 3 that are leaving this month are leased and will be returned to the lessor. The last of the four (ship 6301) is owned by Delta and will be sent to the desert, but preserved and covered for possible re-introduction.
That's all I know.

NYC717A might be their 3rd or 4th choice after what are essentially throw away bids. (747A, 777A, etc.)
