I have not heard that, but that does not mean it is not true.

Trying to figure out roughly where you stand in the que is impossible. I need the secret decoder ring they forgot to issue me with Icrew.

Secret decoder ring:

Go to icrew---> open time ---> reserve availability list

Find your employee number. Whatever number in line you are is where you stand in the que for that kind of trip.

In otherwords, you're #5 in the 5+ day group, but a 3 day trip pops into the pot. That trip is given to the first person in the 3 day bucket.

You get put in line based on your raw score (combination flying/sicktime/vacation time etc). If everybody has the same score (like the 1st of the month) then it is seniority order.

It had better be delayed. We can't even figure out how to do the NWA pushback procedures, yet.

What fleet? I've neither seen nor heard of anyone having any sort of trouble with the new procedures? Scheduling, bidding, etc maybe but not on the operational side.

I was told the other day by crew resources personnel that we are not really overstaffed for December and they mentioned that the 737 could actually use more bodies. The international categories are a little overstaffed by they are gearing them up for future work. The ALV's for December appear to confirm this.

I've heard SOC might be delayed and if that is the case it would be April before they could have SOC done. Don't know why just the RUMORS I've heard.

thats what it looks like on the DC9 also. I've been getting used just about every time i'm on call.

I just sat in NY for 10 days with not even a nibble. Two short calls is all I did. Lots of shopping in the city, lots pizza, lots of Asian food. My room mate in the crash pad snores, too. Gosh I hope I get to fly in November.
