(as long as no one senior had a blanket WS in and would get the newly dropped trip).
Is this still possible? Or did the rules change with an LOA awhile ago? The same LOA that changed "trip parking." If I did this on a noon PCS run, can I pick up the dropped trip at noon? Or do I have to wait till the 1700 run? |

Or do I have to wait till the 1700 run? That being said, I'm pretty sure that any trip or portion of a trip dropped with PB days is considered pay AND credit. Take a look at your max pick up at the bottom of your schedule. If it says you have enough room to pick it up before you use the PB days, you will have it afterwards. The tricky part is if you only drop part of the trip and how that affects your max pick up. I ran into this max pick up problem a month ago. I was legal FAR 117 wise but my max pick up prevented me from white slipping a trip. (I had used payback days to drop a couple trips.) I'm not sure about picking it back up on the same PCS run. Never tried it. Good luck! Denny |

Whoa. Care to expand on that a little? |
Thanks Scambo and Denny, I will take those thoughts into account. My main concern was dropping the 2day ( i have 2 PB days) and then not being able to get it again if it had to sit in the pot for 5hrs for all to see, and someone senior getting it on the next run.

I kind of agree, I don't think it's a barometer of the pilot group, just a barometer of the pilots who are paying attention.

So I am sitting at the gate reading the contract survey document from the union, look up to see a MD90 taxi by on the ramp with two fire trucks following it, look back down and continue laughing at the survey.
Life is entertaining. |

The fact that this order seems to keep moving to later in the year tells me that it will be a part of our C2015 contract, i.e., we'll order not just 50 WB's but 100 WB's if the pilots agree to the company's early C2015 offer.
