Oh Brother, it's a good thing you know "Richard" so well.
Why the heck do we need a union for then? Going into a negotiation with this mentality, will yield mediocre results.:( TEN Why does DALPA? MD has promised a "historic? C2015. (True Headings 14-2) |

Do the therapy, especially the "at home" stuff religiously. I was lazy about one shoulder and when I was better one the second, it is night and day how it feels. |
Most know about this, but for those who don't, here's the TV coverage + schedules for football for those traveling domestically.

Well I just heard that the RFP announcement will come right after the New Year.
I get the feeling we may never actually see any mythical wide body order other that what Virgin and Air France order. |

The process to "jointly petition" is part of the mutually agreed, pilot ratified labor agreement.
As you know we are required to jointly petition, per the PWA. I am not saying its "preferred" by either party, but it was what has been in the language for some time. I just don't think it will get that far. It better not. If these profits continue and we don't have a new contract by mid 2016 then I think "labor risk" will be very much back on the table. I don't think this pilot group will go quietly into the multi-year NMB black hole. ALPA would be under some serious pressure if that happens. Our concessions have been in place for a decade now. Our sacrifices have restored this corporation back to health. Vigorous health. We've been very patient and very "constructive", but now its time for a little reciprocity. 4,8,3,3 isn't going to cut it. Waiting well into 2016 isn't going to cut it. Fortunately, I think management and the union are both well aware of that. |
