Why don't you have one of the ATL reps commit in writing that they will honor our surveys and not touch profit sharing or sick leave?

We will hold our breath.

I didn't say it wasn't happening, I asked for evidence it is happening. Carl has a history of posting make believe facts which he doesn't back up. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for evidence that our elected officials are conspiring with management to dissolve profit sharing.

I have no clue what the survey says about profit sharing or sick leave and I'm not sure how you do. I'm interested in what the ATL reps have to say but they aren't my reps and it's not my question. Shoot them an email and let us know what they say.

Better to let someone else merge with them and inherit that debt on the verge of inevitably rising interest rates while continuing to pay down our own.

Just remember PanAm...

That's a pretty strong statement. I'm sure you will be posting the evidence backing it up shortly...

It's a repeat of the tactics dALPA bureaucrats used to bypass the reps and sell a shoddy c12.
You weren't here for that. Carl was.

Further Rocky, how many sick verification notes have you been hassled about? Serious question. I haven't ever been asked to submit anything, although I have voluntarily a couple of times.

I ask, because I hear guys make the statement you just made, yet I rarely come across someone who has actually been hassled. Actually come to think of it, I can't think of one.

I really don't care if they want a note anyways. I don't gsme the system, and if they want the note they have to pay for the Doc visit. From what I hear it simply doesn't happen. I'm happy leaving that provision intact if they leave the rest of the program alone.

Twice. Never used more than 80 hours in a year.

First time was because I called in sick for a 5-day and forgot to call in well. Had 10 days off after the trip so it hit 15 days. Had to go to my doctor and get a sick not from a month earlier. Lesson learned, call in well even if you have a ton of days off and it doesn't matter.

Second time was for "excessive" use. Called in for a 4-day. Called in well for a 2-day. Sinus issues still there, so called in for a 5-day. All of that was within a 3 week period. Tripped something because the 4-day and 5-day were worth a combined 52 hours. That was early on in the verification program. Easy to verify because I had 2 doctor visits for this one.

Wasn't hassled on either one. Sent the note in and that was it. Still makes you feel like you have done something wrong.

Delta just posted an unimaginable profit, and is expected to only go higher this year. How about we talk more about what we expect to gain, and stop this loser talk about not conceding anything.

My Expectations for C2015:

Pay - With AA to pattern off, I think we should see a considerable gain right out of the gate....

Has anyone posted the new AA rates (aircraft/seat)? If so, can someone point me to them?

How'd they trick the pilots into voting it in?

Second that request. I'd like to see what their rates are vs ours once theirs go into effect. Not that we should settle for anything based on AA, but it would be nice to see the absolute bottom floor of where we would end up after negotiations are done.

They are in the American section of the forum.

$336 on the 747A 1/1/19.

Their MD 80 pays 14% more than our MD 88 1/1/16.

Their A 330 pays 15% more than ours 1/1/16.

Take a look at your sentence. You have 50 percent of your retirement invested in a single stock. I'm glad you kept it, and I'm not an investment advisor. That being said, I think it's safe to say any expert would tell you to diversify a little bit. You have way too much risk right now.

Hey Hockey...Long time...I'm on the phone right now w/ DAL Fidelity. This whole Retirement thing seems WAY more complicated than it did 20 years ago. Ugh. I was trying to put the Profit Sharing into my 401k but the 1sr guy said I was close to maxed out already. I think I need to get a hold of this thing sooner than later.
