After paying down my 401k, I gave the rest of my profit sharing check to Obama and ALPA.

Take it with a grain of salt, but on airlinedorks.net they are saying ATL-DXB on the chopping block.
All the extra flights Emirates has added to every major US city and the extra 400 miles each way due to avoiding all the ISIS No Fly zones isn't helping the yields, no doubt. In March it only operates 5 days a week but the rumor was, that was so they could add the wifi mods. |

Anybody else have issues with 401k elections and PS? Just got off the the phone with Fidelity. They told me me it was on Delta's end & they could see where I made the proper election & submitted the form. Just a heads up to double check your deductions.

Hi Guys (& Gals),
We are in Peachtree City area, and our dentist no longer is covered under the new and improved dental plan. Anybody here got a dentist recommendation they'd share? Much thanks. BTW, we have two still at home…..a 16 yr. old, and a 12 yr. old. |

I'm in Dubai right now, just talked to the Leather shop guy, he heard the same thing from a F/A who heard it from Richard Anderson at a meeting.

I have a new desire for my future ps. It is of it's highest value ever right now. I would like to trade it in this contract. Something that we get that isn't shared with the rest of the company. 401k. All employees are different. I will trade up ps for the company putting in the 415max on Jan 1 of every year. profit or no profit.....every year. two fold, yes our 18k will get taxed but pay in my pocket every year none the less, also the money in Jan 1 gaining all year instead of laddered out. Just a thought.

Reading this thread is absolutely bumming me out. All these new obvious drones coming out of the woodwork posting stuff that seems designed to prep me to lose something... profit sharing or whatever. Most wildly profitable time ever and all i hear is what crappy workrules im about to get, sick time witch hunts, min hours in a month, productivity crap that will drive manning losses and more stagnation and QOL losses. No rallying speech on improvements and victory from my union, instead i suspect they are driving all these concilliation posts. Just depressing this is the climate during a time we shiuld be expecting qol and workrule gains. I have no idea how behnke ever achieved the gains we've ****ed away, let alone whats left that we seem about to **** away. Well I guess they've won. They have effectively already managed your expectations. I agree that our insiders should be fighting for us and a better contract. And I am really tired of reading the posts on here where any post that mentions anything more than a 10% raise gets slammed. But ultimately, it will be up to us to decide whether or not the contract is acceptable. And I think the min day talk will wake up even the auto-yes voters. Keep in mind though that no one from the union has mentioned anything about sick time, minimum month, or any other work rule concessions. We haven't even opened our contract yet so there aren't any table positions in play yet, but I am discouraged that, based on past history and the discussions on here, that during the best time in our airline's history, we find ourselves in a great position to get a great contract, and some are spring loaded to give the company something to get something. That mindset needs to change if we are going to get the contract I expect. Keep your chin up, it hasn't even started yet, and if the contract doesn't meet your expectations, vote NO. E |
