The key word there is negotiate. I suspect we asked for something better. It's the end product. We did not specify which 757 type so perhaps there is some hope. Here is the contract section.

2 4. If, during any consecutive rolling 18-month period, the Company grants an across-the-board increase in base pay rates to non-pilot U.S.-based workgroups covering 30% or more of its non-pilot U.S.-based workforce, then a review of pilot composite hourly rates will be triggered. If, as a result of that review, it is determined that, as of the date the review was triggered, the Delta top-of-scale 757 Captain composite hourly rate is less than 100% of the average of the top-of-scale 757 Captain hourly domestic day rates at United and American, the pilot composite hourly rates will be increased (except as provided in Section 3 B. 4. Note). The amount of increase will be the lesser of the percentage difference between the Delta top-of-scale 757 Captain composite hourly rate and 100% of the top-of-scale average 757 Captain hourly domestic day rates at United and American, or the average percentage increase (except as provided in Section 3 B. 4.Note) granted to the non-pilot U.S.-based workgroups of the Company. Any percentage increase due the pilots will be effective as of the date of the increase that triggered the review.

Using my math and Americans new 757 rate at 242 an hour we need a rate at UAL to exceed 212 to start triggering a increase. With both AMR and UAL getting a 3% raise next JAN it does look like we would be due around a 3% raise next APR if the company gives a non contract raise which is likely. If we could use the UAL 757-300 rate we could be due a raise on 1 APR. I am probably missing some important detail but I will ask my reps to insure it's looked at.

He's toast.
Unless some other stories come out that can be proven he lied about I am 100% certain that nothing will happen to him. He is the face of NBC. No way he is getting fired.

Dan Rather did.

Don't worry about price. Just make a couple of posts from the hotel and bill DALPA.

Great study here on the communication style of these DALPA trainees:

And here's the question posed by Schwanker:

When the answer to that question harms sailingfun's premise, he answers another question and ignores the topic entirely:

Notice that sailingfun completely ignores Schwanker's question of whether sailingfun knew of anyone doing union work in 2012 that was proposing giving up profit sharing back then.

Sailingfun, you'll always maintain damaged credibility when you refuse to address difficult questions. Even more so when you refuse to ever admit you're wrong.

Carl, you made many posts that my posts are directed by Dalpa and I have been paid to do so. I even asked you to put your money where your mouth is when it comes to this issue and others have posted that I dont. The only reason if you have integrity you would make such a post is if you know your correct. I will make you a bet. I will send you my name and employee number. You do the same. If you can show I have ever received a dime from DALPA or even a single instruction to make a post I will donate 5000.00 dollars to the Delta pilots relief fund. You can have 2 weeks to research and have your reps check. If however your not telling the truth in your insinuations you donate 5000 to the fund? So is the bet on?
P.S. I will be happy to make the same bet with Purple
