The rest of the 170 hours goes away. You have to drop a trip without pay if you are sick. Like a PD or APD. Only guaranteed. Of course you still have disability if needed for long term. Its not like vacation because you can use PTO one day at a time, anytime, even at short notice.

BTW, I believe our FAs have a system like this, only they get just 27.5 hours of PTO not 100.

True. But "labor risk" is still exploitable leverage after RA's boast to the contrary.

Next time the management shills start in again with sick leave or OE trial balloons, let's pull some permits for informational picketing at LGA, JFK, and SEA.

Baghdad Bob(Tim Clark) is coming at us with a "sledgehammer". What is it with the Middle East and blowhard talk?

I own a big green egg and a pellet smoker. The Egg does not get much use since I bought the pellet grill. I went with a high end pellet grill so I could get up above 600F for steaks. There are lots of options. The very best steaks I have done however still come off the Egg cooked at about 800. The pellet grill is just so much easier.

Traeger pellet smoker/grill is fantastic. I have an $1800 weber summit grill, don't use it much since getting Traeger. Can ALSO use it as a wood fired pizza oven, ready in about 5 min, works perfect.

If you go with Traeger (I don't own one), check out the Delta Perks website. I think there's a discount that may or may not be a good deal.
