Was there any defense it that game? I'll answer my own question...............NO!

I'm also embarrassed to say my Seahawks won today.....

I was looking at reserve availability lists and noticed a bunch of people have a lot of "Actl Cred" before anybody has even done any flying. When I looked at the bid award they all had 2 days of "PTP" followed by a long block of something like "20TR" in gray. Anybody know what those abbreviations stand for?

Thanks!

PTP is pre-training period - the 48 hours of unpaid/no-credit time preceding IQ you can opt for in your AE/displacement preferences. The TR is training...20 COULD mean a DTW based pilot (I've seen 44TR, hence my guess).

Thanks, I thought it was something along those lines but didn't know the exact meaning of the abbreviations.

Do you know if there is a place where all the abbreviations and color codes are defined?

Mike; You do know , don't you, that pretty soon YOU are going to know every nuance of the PWA so YOU will be the guy who answers all the questions, right?

Oh, just a heads up........they WILL change stuff, so if you're type A, you might need a Zanax or 2!

Carry on!

I certainly hope so. I'm already considerably smarter as a result of helpful posts here, reading the scheduling reference handbook, and sections of the PWA; however, it is amazing how much

a) I don't know, and
b) how much I don't know I don't know

I believe the '20' is the aircraft code and 'TR' indicates initial/transition training.

A couple code examples: 69TR is ER initial training and 30WD is A330 CQ.

So I'm guessing 20TR would be 320 initial/transition and 44TR would be a code that is soon to be extinct. :(:mad:

All correct, except that 44 is for the 73N ("74" is for the 744). Durned if I can remember where I found it, but I have a printout of all the various codes.

EDIT: see crewdawg's post below for details!

20 = 320
30 = 330
44 = 73n
64 = 765
69 = 7er
70 = 777
71 = 717
88 = m88
