Boy Oregon really, really choked in the second half! And their center, with all the low snaps, and did their starting QB get a concussion or what? The announcers never really said why he was out, just that he 'took a hit'.

Well... was it a concussion? If it was, why was he walking around the sideline wearing a headset the whole second half, instead of relaxing in the locker room? Did they think they didn't need him, because they were up by 31? Well guess what? They needed him!

If I remember right they lost both their star QB and center. Train derailed.

Yes, and here's a little known fact, if you are in your last month before it expires, and you have not yet used your APD (in the previous 11 months), they HAVE TO let you use it, regardless of reserve coverage.

I pulled that one out of my butt one year to get Labor Day weekend off! :D

Not so fast, there are plenty of exclusions on when you can use an APD. And I'm not familiar with what Timbo is saying, but it would be nice if it's true.

I had a 5-day carry-out trip with 1 day in Feb. When the changes came out today (thus the flood of open trips at the end of the month methinks), the 5th day was removed from the rotation. Usually they add a day to a 4-day./.

I think I just won the spillover trip lottery. Since I'm pretty junior I didn't bid avoid spillovers and got a nice 4 day with pretty decent layovers with 7 total legs and 77 TAFB (although 2 layovers were YYZ, and I'm not a fan of the cold). I swapped that for a 4 day spillover hanging out in open time that included a 34.40 LFT layover which I've been told wasn't smart, but that trip was 6 legs and my TAFB was only 68 hours -- basically report 6 hours later and get home 5 hours earlier for just 1 hour less pay sounded like a win to me so I took it. Well, after the end of month shuffle, they nuked day 4 and all but 1 of the legs on day 3, so I now have a 3 day trip with just 2 legs: ATL-LFT, layover for 34:40, LFT-ATL and just 41 TAFB :). Now, if anybody can recommend how to spend my time in LFT for a day and a half...

EDIT: Looks like the original trip I dropped is still in open time, they chunked day 4 off of that as well. That one is 3 days, 3 working legs + a DH. Same pay, way better layovers (17 in YYZ and 24 in DTW), but an extra 10 hours TAFB.

Odd how the company keeps crying they want productivity then keeps making these completely unproductive trips. My trip is 15:45 pay for 3.25 block, the one I dropped is now 15:45 pay for 6.47 block and 1.55 DH. Go figure.

Before you get upset, consider that Delta has long been virtually the only airline to pay protect every single trip in your current month. Most airlines will only pay protect the first week or two, and some don't pay protect anything you don't fly.

Can you post what major airline only pay protects the first week or two or does not protect at all?

Easy there, Flamer! They have, like, 22 minutes left!

Issues getting the trips built?

They're available on the PBS site - at least to search and whatnot.
