Where are the vacation weeks posted on DLnet? The flight ops page announcement says they will be posted by 1 Jan, but I don't see them. The link on the vacation page is a dead end to some server error....

Anyone have the "backdoor" link for this?

Unrelated...but it looks like I have a 7 day shadow bid built for me after my 2 day SRQ upon returning from mil leave. The crew planners did not know for certain if I will have a LCA OE style trip or not post simulator. I didn't see that the trip post sim training was part of the requal in the syllabus, but maybe by default they require it which is also why they built the shadow bid?

Regardless, I bid max credit pairings during that 7 day period based on the gouge in previous threads for the hope I will be paid the higher of a 4-5 day max credit trip over the 2-3 day OE style trip if required post training. I was gone right around 9 months...

You can still use them through March and they will be worth more than sup vacation days. You just PD trips or Reserve days in PCS, then call scheduling and they will take your PB days and pay you for what you dropped. It goes on the schedule as TOFF days. Worth a lot more that way than supp vacation days. Do that then buy supp vacation days through the bank if you want an extra week of vacation.

It's all in iCrew. Bids/Vacation/Initial Vacation Bids/Choose Primary then click on Display Weeks Available in Category

Interesting strategy. So are you recommending dropping a trip, using PB days to get paid, then WSing the same trip and just putting those hours into the bank? Essentially getting 5:15 instead of 3:30 a day? Only flaw is my category rarely has blue days, it is tough to drop a trip.

Hey I have a question regarding shadow bidding. I have 5 shadow days, so I think I could do 2 4 day trips back to back with a 30 hr layover. I was wondering how PBS will look back at rest for the first trip though, will it look at the last day off I had in the simulator or will I need to put a day off before that first trip, in which case I could only bid a 3 day then a 4 day

You can make those PB days worth more than 5:15 if your category has trips that pay more than that per day. You can make them pay 7 or 8 hours if you play it right.

And you don't have to white slip the same trip you drop. White slip whatever you feel like flying. Or green slip. Or take the days off. Think of it like a vacation that pays 6 or 7 hours per day instead of 3:15.

Hello,

I signed up for the Gold HSA med plan. I was under the impression that Delta provided $500 per child into the HSA at the start of the year. I have three kids so was expecting to see at least $1500. It appears they deposited $500, $350, and $300.

I think the $350 and $300 were health awards. I think the $500 is for one child. Should there be an additional $1000 for the other two kids total, or was I mistaken all along?

Thanks.

It's $500 for you, $500 for your spouse, and $500 total for all kids. Doesn't matter if you have 1 or 15, still $500. The lower $350 and $300 amounts are probably due to you not completing some of the health rewards or not meeting biometric targets. I only got $400 because my Cholesterol level was 10 points too high. It was a 6 week course of total BS to get the $100, so I blew it off and took the $100 hit.
