How do I request the slide in inverse priority. IOW slide 16, 15, 14 days instead of 14, 15, 16 days?

Quick question (yes I read the contract, but I want to confirm). If I was awarded a new aircraft in say FEB18, when do I start getting paid the new rate?

Assuming I don't start training early, do I get paid on the new aircraft rate at 2/1 no matter what?

And if they do send me to training early, when does the new pay rate start? The first day of class, after the final sim, or after I am done with IOE?

You get paid when you convert. If your 44x is before 15th (16th?) you convert 1st of that month. If 44x after, you convert 1st of next month.

Not quite sure what you are asking but if you want to slide it later in the month it’s plus in front of the number of days. If you want to slide it earlier in the month it’s a minus in front of the number of days.

Using the range option of a vacation slide always goes to the date farthest away from the origional date and then works back toward the origional start date.

Example Vacation Dec 15-22
Slide vacation range 1-5. It would try to start vacation on Dec 20 (+5) If didn't work then start date would be Dec 19, then 18, 17, and 16.
Same logic for earlier range -1 to -5. New start date Dec 10, then 11, 12, 13, 14.
Can always call the PBS call center on the 8th at 8 am.

To Jumpseat on this question....if someone junior to you goes to training/converts before you, are you pay protected at your new rate from when said junior pilot trained/converted?
Are all senior pilots pay protected, or just the next senior pilot in line who should have been trained/converted first?

Pilots who don't require training can be converted ahead of pilots who do with no pay implications. Among pilots requiring training if someone is converted out of seniority everyone senior is pay protected. If you opted to convert last you waive any pay protection.
