10 minutes before you realize you're an a hole for making people junior to you unnecessarily burn their limited S2s for no reason?

Ya dude, don’t do this. It’s bad karma. Make a decision and accept the consequences like a big boy.

So OOBWS, picking up SILs, pilot swap board above ALV + 15, or any other contractually legal "it benefits me so everybody else eff off" provision is ok, but we're drawing the line with swapping S3 and S2? Don't like it, then go pre-emptive with your own S2 and you've got nothing to worry about. Also realize you're not just competing with pilots, if you expect pilots to play nice then have fun not making flights when gate agents and FAs swap last-minute and leave you at the gate.
And on a side note, it’s kinda lame to infer that either my self or the other guy support the pwa stuff. That’s a stretch, it’s childish, and you should chill out |

Negative dude. Not the same at all. It’s the little things that make the world go round. Contract pwa stuff is separate. Being a d1ck on travel net is being a d1ck. Just like non revving your family of 6 and at the last second bombing a unique flight that you knew all week you were targeting. It’s all about karma my dude.

Ok, please explain how they are different other than they just "feel" different; or for that matter, how "karma" isn't just a PC way of saying "voodoo". I'll even add that when I NR'd the family to FCO we listed 2 months prior and showed our hand (not that it matters since everybody who can, S2s overseas). I just don't follow the logic of your argument.
For what it’s worth I had to do this about 2 years ago when I was fighting about the contract. I’ll still always hate James Bond and 80 knots for the garbage they spewed.....I keed I Keed.... |

So just to be clear, you are saying that checking in S2 and having folks burn an S2 to match you, then realizing that it makes no difference and last minute switching to S3 is the same as oobws or using an sil? These aren’t in the same category. You are dragging items together that don’t correlate in the slightest. IMHO you need to take a break from your recent deep dive into apc dude. You surfaced about 6 months ago and have been in full AB since. Put down the phone and go for a walk with your kids

Finally, answer the question. Why is it OK for me to fly an OOBWS (or one of a myriad of examples) which benefits me at the expense of others but I can't change my S3 to S2 (at the expense of others) if it looks like I won't make a flight? |
