Maybe, but even I do not see that happening. I also beleive that this has been in the PWA for some time. Add to it that it is contractual and the company can not just arbitrarily threaten to take that funding away if we do not agree. Secondly, it saves you from adding to your dues.

I am sure that many contracts 9PWA's) have this in there. It means that the company pays for part of our Association's operation, which is allowing us to not use, or otherwise use the dues (10 million a year) that we have.

In the end, if you want it changed, you need to change the PWA. I personally think it is great. No matter what we are doing, work action we are threatening etc, that money gets paid to ALPA for those workers.

I'm not saying, I'm just saying...

I would be very very careful about accusing or implying someone is guilty of criminal conduct on a public forum. You might quickly find yourself without a house, checking and savings account and a large stack of legal fees. Unless you have direct evidence of what your implying I would ask the moderator to delete every post making reference to this.
This has to be one of the lowest blows I have seen on a forum.

That might be really good advice.

EXINGTON, Ky. - A jury has awarded more than $7 million to the family of a passenger killed in the 2006 crash of a Comair regional jet in Kentucky.

The suit filed by survivors of Bryan Keith Woodward is the only passenger lawsuit that has reached trial.

Flight 5191 crashed after trying to take off from a runway at Lexington's airport that was too short for commercial jets. Forty-nine people were killed. The National Transportation Safety Board found the pilots' failed to notice clues they were on the wrong runway.

The jury's award on Monday is the first phase of the lawsuit. Another jury will decide next year if the airline was negligent, making the family eligible for punitive damages.

Comair says it hopes the trial provides the family with some healing. Comair is a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc.

Is PBS fairly quick? Right now it seems pretty bogged down, does Easy Bid work better? Thanks
