That is exactly correct.
The picture is legit.

Minnesota has a bikini ice fishing team. Very popular. Very PG rated. All good fun.

Bikini Ice Fishing Team: They're Ice Fishing in Bikinis!

About the only thing better in the Delta contract is the hourly rates and not even by that much. I guess NWA credited me more for my time because the higher guarantee was harder to break. Rant over.

What airplane are you on, hockey? Are the giving you long call?

So quit. Or run for office.

Typical Delta south response. You don't even realize that most regionals have better reserve rules than the largest airline in the world. Our PWA should have taken the best of both worlds. You have no idea how many things were actually better at NWA. Your 5:15 min day for lineholders seemed better until we realized deadhead days don't count. Now we have a ton of rotations with a single deadhead back to base on the last day. It seems like with everything that seemed better in your contract, there is a catch that we find out about later. I am going to run for office when it gets closer to contract time. We need huge positive sum gains next contract.

I guess the NWA pilots should have looked closer at what they were voting for. In case you missed it....It is now our contract and an over whelming majority of Delta north guys voted for it......not the case at Delta south.

PS sorry for being less than pleasent but I hear thois a lot from north guys and it is ridiculous!!!!!!

What Check Essential said. Reserve is only bearable if you live in base.

And MSP

Oh, and for anyone thinking of bidding DTW, it's 10 degrees F and windy. Windchill is -6. And it's not even winter yet. :)

And for those thinking about bidding MSP, it has WARMED UP to -6 (temp not wind chill) so far this morning and there's about 8" of snow on the ground right now. As was said before...that ain't grits on the ground! :D

Uh oh. A North v. South tiff brewing right before an AE can never be good.

One positive: His complaint and hopefully upcoming answer will help me figure my PBS bid. Probably my AE/MD bid, too.

I hear you "loud and clear!" :D It's just hard to believe there is that much difference between the two.

His complaint is right on the money.
Its bearable if you live in base, but you definitely don't want to commute to reserve under the Delta system because of the shortcall situation.
And the lack of trip guarantees for reserves really stinks. Some trips pay a whole lot less for a reserve than a regular guy.
