If you fly a leg that turns the clock, IE took off from GRU at 2345 on dec 31st and landed JFK 06240 on the 1 Jan, is the entire leg paid as if it was flown in Dec? Shouldn't some of those hours be credited towards Jan?
It's based on when you take off. |

Not how they do it now. It nails guys on reserve every month.
I lost 9 hours of credit on a trip that started in Oct and finished in Nov, because I went from lineholder to reserve. The 9 hours credit went toward my reserve guarantee, which I never came close to breaking. |

I want there to be a shortage of pilots that meet Delta standards. That gives us leverage.
You're kidding, right? A *shortage* of pilots meeting DAL standards? I think you should talk to the HR department about just how many apps are on file at the moment. The regional apartheid system has ensured there will NEVER be a shortage of qualified applicants at the major airlines. |
As far as ATL M88 B, all I can count is a net gain of 36 seats, 69 coming in and 33 out for a net of 36 and the AE had 34 vacancies so they went 2 over that. I was thinking we added a lot of pilots but not as many as I thought.
I guess if people are allowed in June to go back to their previous categories, as are the rumors from CP/ACL (one in the same?) then the ATL 88 B will lose 49 pilots or so. |

Good point. Let's just staple all of the Delta Connection pilots behind me. No questions asked. I don't mind it one bit.
I'm all for that. Tack em on and have it be done with. |
It would solve a lot of issues.
Word 80. You know we ought to be more happy at this airline when we see our friends, we should be like CFB players are after they score. Most chest bumps, that side bump and then getting together in a group of 3 and hopping for 30-40 yards. I'd like to see that in the expansive terminal at JFK just once. |

Open up the cockpit door after landing, spike your hat on the ground and start dancing around it.... HOW YOU LIKE THAT LANDING, FOOLS??!! THERES MORE WHERE THAT CAME FROM!!! |
