Could not agree more about the cat ranchers. Being a commuter on us, it is quite sad to see the *ladies* I see walking the aisles week in and week out. Truly sad. Half of them can barely fit down the aisle without banging peoples elbows as they walk by. It is unbelievable to see the difference between our FA's and the FA's of foreign carriers. Night and day is an understatement. There should be a mandatory retirement age for FA's...after all, they are "the face of Delta"...the one's passengers deal with on their journey.

When we deplaned, a Delta frequent flyer platinum dude laid into me about the delay. No clue, no thanks for the pristine landing into a 5701' runway, or the brand new airplane that smelled like a new car with satellite TV and wireless. Nope, he was ****ed that we didn't have a gate.

(1) A lot of people seem to be overlooking the fact that the Passenger Bill of Rights was a government response to the gross mis management of "Connection" operations.

(2) Safe, on time, to where they bought a ticket to go is what we sell. Whatever it takes, we must deliver better than our competition. Sounds like the crew did their part and delivered 100%.

Running an airline the size of Delta is MUCH more difficult than running an AirTran. Folks (like my business partners who got stuck in Dallas) just don't understand why a snow storm in the NE results in the Dallas flight not operating. All you can do is apologize and mention where those frequent flier miles let them go on our network.

Now, you don't want me going back to late 1970's soft rock dude's album cover do you? I thought it funny, some people found that disturbing.

Super didn't "scope" his avatar ... Just think of the statement that would make if we all used it?

Was not that impressed with Virgin Atlantic FA s the other day in MIA...about half of them looked like cleaning ladies...but the red dress thing is still nice. I think their hiring standards must have fallen too.

Just flew 4 domestic legs on AA as a pax..none had updated video/tv /wireless...all older overhead small tvs run by vieo tape...did notice flight attendants seem to build a nest in the last row of coach for their rest area, not sure if that is contractual. We are putting out a classier product IMO, but if no gate available, not so good!

Got called twice yesterday for 2 different IA's, hopefully that means we will be hiring soon!

There is no question that our product is better than AMR's or UAL's, but in the words of our execs, we need to compete with the Thai's, Cathay's, Emirates, ect. We have miles to go to do that.
