Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Here's a thought: DAL and NWA are now officially one-in-the-same carrier, and the pilots are all members of the same union. How come we have separate web boards? Shouldn't we have access to each others posts, now that we're all one big happy family?

I think it would be most enlightening to both "sides", that's all. The faster we all start thinking of the groups as a single "we" instead of them v. us, the better. Common web boards are coming anyway, so lets get cracking.

The web boards should be fully integrated by "Bid Period 5".:D

I'm sure it will happen soon. However, we are not "officially one-in-the same carrier." For now, NWA is a wholly owned subsidiary of DAL, but is still a separate carrier.

Can anyone get on Alpa? It is taking me almost 10 minutes to get to the Delta MEC page and it still isn't fully loaded.

I suspect a lot of people are viewing it right now.

On another note, the stock price is up 38% from the date we got our shares. The value of my shares is up 10K from the date we got them, if they get sold at the right time of course.

Yep, it takes forever to load and when you get there, it freezes.

I would guess that the slow moving DALPA site is due to the uploading of a large amount of information or a $hitload of people trying to get on.
