Yeah, I rarely use it myself. Ha Just in case you get surprised and end up going to training, I just remembered another 88/90 quirk. Because some ignoramous aero braked the thing so high and dragged the buckets, they decided the nose must be on the ground before applying reverse. Back in the 95 when I was an FO on the 88, they went back and forth on the issue several times. First they said nose on ground, then it was nose coming down, then they went back to nose completely down. I think it is a bad policy as a lot of your reverse thrust available is behind you. Unfortunately, they never asked me for my opinion. LOL Maybe a lot of those guys will follow the airplane and you'll get the slot. Hope so.
BTW, welcome aboard from one Naval Aviator to another! |

Heyas,
Not to put too fine a point on it: 1) Why don't we leave it up to the FAs to handle their own affairs? If they want to try to make this stick, who cares? It's their business. 2) Who the heck cares as long as the FAs do their jobs? The BEST FA crew that I ever had, hands down, was a married couple I flew with on the -9. You guys need to get your head out of the gutter. Nu |

Yes. It's the box that most all delta pilots who don't have a raw score of 0 lug around. You can tell ny the stickers that say hired not acquired, I'll keep my gun you can keep your change, various squadron stickers and a 9/11 ribbon.
I'm not sure if I can find my way back to LAX. And then, we changed employee parking lots, and then.....sheesh. What does a 737-800 look like again? Love ya FTB. We gotta do adult beverages soon. That is, if I ever travel again. |

Oh, sorry, its been awhile. I was dreaming...but at one point I was flying my ass off, and then we had a merger, and then I was pushed down to reserve, and then, I don't fly any more.

I do understand your point, but you are wrong in part. Until the most recent FA hiring, nearly all DAL FA's had a four year college or university degree or better. My wife has two bachelors degrees from a highly respected university, and speaks several languages.

I flew with him at SkyWest and he was hired a few months after me...So he's junior to me and that's all that matters!:D And if it's the same guy...which I'm sure it is, yes she spoke spanish as well. |
