Skywest is a lower priority than mainline, I think S3C, but they show up on the standby list in longevity order with us. Your spouse should board before them.

Unless it's a Skywest flight. On Delta Connection flights operated by Skywest, Skywest is S3 and Delta is S3C. I'm pretty sure all the ATL/DEN flights are mainline, though, so you won't have to worry about that.

Anybody know the latest scoop on booking a positive space on off rotation deadhead at the end of a rotation??? Do you book the positive space yourself on travelnet or do you get a crew scehduler to do it?? Seems like the jumpseat person is gone.

GB put out a bulletin about this a couple of weeks ago. XCM desk is closed. Online booking for deviating on the back end for Business class tix is supposed to be working by the end of May, until then Crew Skeds is supposed to book your Biz ticket. For coach deadhead book it in TravelNet -> Company Travel -> Crew Travel. I'll try and shoot you a copy of the bulletin.

Edit: Sorry its a Memo, not a bulletin. Don't look for it in your iCrew Bulletins.

I just called scheduling tonight and asked this exact question. When you sign in for your trip, tell them you plan on deviating at the end of your trip. They'll make your reservation for your new deadhead flight. Once you finish your actual flying at the end of the trip, call to deviate like you normally do. Hope this helps!

I just got awarded the -ER. What kind of rest facilities are on the 767-300 and the 757-300? Do you just get a First Class seat or are there separate facilities? I'm looking forward to actually leaving the U.S. for a change!

The Code-A-Phone today from the VP of Flight Ops said today that they picked a Manager of Pilot Hiring.

One more step toward starting the hiring process - I won't say his name because I don't know if it's public info, but people who can get on DeltaNet can see who it is - he is very experienced. It looks like he's definitely not some paper-pusher who in it for brownie points or something.

Depends on the aircraft. On most of the 767-300ER aircraft, you get a BusinessElite seat on the aisle, with a thick curtain that wraps around the seat. There's also an extra footrest. A small number of the 767-300ERs have a Crew Rest Facility with 2 bunks in an enclosed area - these planes do the 12+ hour legs and the facility is required by the FAA.

The B757-200ER (Delta planes) use a BusinessElite seat, but the seats in these planes don't recline as much, and less of a curtain. Also a little footrest, but not very useful.

There is a memo on this very issue in ICrew. Mandatory > 7ER as I recall.

You were obviously misled. There are no crew rests on any of those planes. Try to get the bid cancelled if you still can. I can PM you the CPSC number, if you'd like. Jyst let me me know how I can be of assistance.;)
