INAV8OR,
Your question leads me to think of another one having to do with pay protection. What if, in the Jan 2010 AE award, you bid to keep pay protection and are now seat locked for 2 years on equipment still below your original pay protected status. Then, in a subsequent bid, someone junior to you hold your original equipment while you are still frozen. Are you still pay protected because you could not bid back to your original equipment? Just wondering. Denny |

if you don't want to know the answers, you don't ask the questions. And if you're Newk, you throw your cigarette on the ground and say "why would I give a damn?" |

No you have a two year seat lock from the award.
As a back up the best wa to see if you have a freeze is to go on DBMS(I-crew) and check for a freeze. You can see this by trying to put new AE choices it. It will show a freeze there is you have one. |

I was talking with a former NWA scheduler the other day. She said they need way more schedulers. Remember a lot of former NWA schedulers took the severance and not the move to ATL.
She also said they have a much less technologically advanced system, & still do some scheduling with pencil/paper. No joke, her words exactly. I think they're a little strained right now. |

So, if Crew Scheduling is hiring, who's wife is applying?
My wife wants me to be a stay at home dad & fly her to Europe. There's one way to make that happen. ;-) |

He refused to pick up the phone. So she called him with her cellphone. He knew what was up and refused to answer that too. A little while later the neighbor came by and handed him the phone, it was his wife and she junior manned him to come in to work. Now that's love. |
