Why is scheduling waiting so long to assign sc's all of a sudden? They used to have them done by mid morning and now they wait till the last minute? Why?

ACL, nothing seemingly going on... good or bad?

I'm wondering what is Delta's best hub, as in, income margin and potential? Dare I say, De'TWa?

There is a web survey link on the DALPA website. The more that take it the more accurate it will be!!!

Thanks Denny! I just took it.

For those of you who don't want to take the time to fill it out, like watching soccer or blown perfect games or something similiar, let me throw some carrots out that will make it worth your time :):

I think part of the Detroit flying plus up is profitability. Maybe all of it since in business everything is done with profitability in mind. I do think New York construction does play a role in DTW expansion too. They're trying to get the schedule dust to settle before the construction dust. DTW is definitely one of the nicest airports in the system.

On a related note, I pose a question. Since we didn't furlough when we parked airplanes in the desert, and we are pulling those airplanes out now - which we are completely manned for - and we are parking DC-9s shortly - and we are hiring (lets say the 300 this year covers retirements) - All the folks being hired next year (assuming 100/month) are going to fly what?

Is there a purchase order somewhere that is waiting to be announced or am I a paranoid schizophrenic with catatonic qualities?

Is this where obi wan kenobi says these are not the droids you are looking for?

I don't know, whats understaffed? Seems to me to be the 320 anywhere. Also, if we get that slot swap approved and expand LGA, even with DCA reduction, something tells me we might finally go from fat to right staffed on 88 ATL B. But thats my little world from where I sit. Which is at home. Rain or shine. SC or LC. I'm here with you guys, sniff, sniff, trying to get my damn essay down to 1024 characters on that survey. :D
