I agree. Thought it was time to retire.

Second question. What does this App do for me as a regular (non Easy
Bid) PBS guy? 2. Faster interface. 3. Ability to sort columns after searching for trips. 4. The ability to get feedback on what you have asked for using the analysis tool. Details on how to use this are in the PBS Gouge on Crew Resources and Scheduling page of DeltaNet. |

In general we flew more hours per day and probably more total hours per month than we do now at DAL. Alot of guys took pay cuts because of the 70 reserve guarantee as opposed to 75 hours. Sick leave being 100% pay vs a step down to 75% makes a difference as well. The way our patterns were built vs they way rotations are built now have an affect as well(D**m computers) as well as the differences in our computer bidding programs. Point being, you are correct and know way more about where the fDAL contracts have been and you probably do have way more insight to the DAL contract, I have a lot to learn. I am not saying that the NWA contract is better than the current DAL contract, Just that in first 2 years of being under the DAL contract working for near the same or a little less money for 40 days more per year makes me prefer the old contract, that is all and in no way profess to know everything about the way forward. I wish I did, I would share it with everyone.:)

Looks like 6.5% of W2 for the profit sharing check. That is unless you are former IAM or AFA then you get 3.2%. Welcome to the Delta Family. Didn't they all work for the same company in 2010?

Sick leave being 75% instead of 100%? Are you talking about the 95+% of guys who use less than the threshold required to make the pay less than 100% Cherrypicking is easy, just like hindsight being 20/20. How about the 25-30% payraise realized since the merger, or the profit sharing you'll be getting next month. But you know all this. Its been covered ad nauseum.
I'm one of the 95%, and I dont think I'm a full up socialist, but there has to be some mechanism by which the sick leave covers a person at 100% for the full term of (lets say) a broken arm or leg. |

Capn's comments about "never" going to the ALPA site and then calling out anyone "except PG" to PM with factual information leads me to designate him the official: "Latest and Greatest" http://www.mediabistro.com/prnewser/...nal/Douche.jpgOf the Day. It will not be awarded daily, and on occasion I may even have to award it to myself (maybe a few days late after realizing what I had previously posted), but it will always be available as a prize to those who have distinguished themselves. *Disclosure: I have had a few tonight, and if I judge that it was an unfair award, I will follow through and award it to myself. Good night. |
Not a big deal
