It's really annoying that you don't get GS pay on canceled flights. I commuted up to BOS to pick on a GS and the flight canceled after I signed in at Boston. I wasted my day to get suit up pay.....

I'm guessing Row44 is using WN as a launch plattform for their service that otherwise has no takers, AS trialed Row44 before switching to Aircell... The big issue is Boeing has identified interference issues between onboard WIFI and 3rd gen 737NG Display Units... (there is no issue with 2nd gen and 4 gen displays) Wi-Fi interference with Honeywell avionics prompts Boeing action This will be interesting. Cheers George |

The HBO John Adams movie was a mini-series, so it will take some time to get through. It's well worth it though. They do a great scene at the end that incorporates the letters he and Jefferson passed between each other. They were both great writers/communicators. It's seems as though I have run into another history geek. I'll have to check those places out. I can't wait to get a good, long layover in CHS, so I can visit some Civil War history. |
1776 was an excellent book. It highlights the precarious position our fledgling nation was in and how that year turned everything around. Another McCullough masterpiece.

I've been commuting on comair a lot lately, and it has been awful. Havent been out or in on time in over a month. When chatting with the crew the terrible attitude is right out there for every one to see. I'm sure it's hard for those guys to have a good attitude with all their shrinkage, but sarcastic PAs are not the answer.
