I am... absolutely amazing.

Looks like another tsunami is on it's way in.

WHOA.... i didn't see that huge tsunami come rolling in on the earlier footage... that is some serious destruction.

There's an entire airport underwater. I don't know where it is, but I just saw the footage.

Looks like the last HNL-NRT flight diverted. Don't know where they went but pretty sure it wasnt Haneda or Sendai.

Be interesting to see what kind of IROPS happen tomorrow in the Pacific.

Last thing I heard on TV is that the quake has been upgraded to 8.9!!

I believe it was Sendai.

Flight 275 out of Detroit (744) has diverted as well.

The quake struck 81 miles off the coast of Sendai, at a depth of 15 miles, the U.S. Geological Survey said, calling the temblor a "mega" quake.

It was followed by a series of powerful aftershocks, including a magnitude 7.4 aftershock that might have been a second quake.

The USGS upgraded the quake's strength a magnitude 8.9 after Japan's meteorological agency initially measured it at 7.9.

Tokyo's Narita International Airport and Tokyo International Airport, also known as Haneda Airport, were shut down, Kyodo News and NHK reported.

Onagawa nuclear power plant in Miyagi Prefecture automatically halted operations following the quake. operator Tohoku Electric Power Co. said. The power company said it was checking for damage.

A major blackout occurred across a wide area of northeastern Japan.

Email I just received from downtown Tokyo:

It was an 8.4 - 8.9 followed by a 7.1 aftershock in the same area about 90 minutes later. Tsunamis at 4-10 METERS. Washed out the airport in Sendai, set off petroleum fires in Tokyo.

Sounds like most if not all public transit shutdown in Tokyo...

Tsunami warning for entire west coat of North America and essentially every country in the Pacific

All flight Tokyo diverted, and no injuries to crews reported. I was over there for the last one a few days ago. Hotel swayed a little bit with that one.

Praying for everyone over there.
