consequences. all dont end in a group hug but they should.

They're all 2 drinks away. Never forget.

You mean there was a politically related discussion that took place and the forum didn't destroy itself into oblivion before it moved on? I thought that was impossible without mod squash in effect.;) I think the lesson learned here is not to delete posts, but to post underboob to make the world right.

Of course that presupposes a lot.

Too many 757/777 qualified big-wigs with no real tail wheel experience dinging it up at high profile events last I heard. Better to let it sit and get dusty than let a non-SLI DC-3 qualified guy actually fly it (second hand info, but from a decent source....)

Oh that's painful to hear.

If I understand what you are asking, I think you might be confused about "earlier" as it is used in that section of the contract.

If they give you a trip that doesn't sign in until the next day then that is not "earlier" no matter what time of day it signs in. "Earlier" refers to anything before your original report day/time for the trip. It doesn't mean time of day.

Don't know if I explained that very well. Here's an example: If you were originally supposed to sign in at 0830 on Monday they can't give you something that signs in at 0815 on Monday. But they can give you something that signs in at 0530 on Tuesday.

You explained it just fine, & that's exactly the answer I was looking for. Thanks for the clarification. I still think that sucks though, because I could lose a commutable trip and have to buy a hotel room.

It belongs to the museum's foundation, not the Company. Shouldn't they decide who operates it?

If management had anything to do with it, I'm surprised one of Jerry's kids* isn't flying it.

(as in Jerry Atkin, not Jerry Lewis)

I bet we could find a tail wheel qualified first officer for me:

While this is very disappointing in the short term in the long term the doctors say her prognosis is much better. Also, because of the nature of her disease (it is very rare) she is actually fairly high on the list and we expect to be back for the double transplant within a year. I can't thank everyone enough for all the support we've been given by everyone and I'll be sure to update whenever anything changes. I would also like everyone to know that Delta Air Lines management and the insurance company (yes - we have United Health) have also been extremely supportive during all the care we have received since she first became ill. If anyone ever has issues with their health insurance please feel free to PM me because I have learned way more about our insurance benefits than I ever wanted to.

Thanks again,

That is great to hear. We do have good people hear, and I am happy to hear that they are continuing that tradition. Keep us posted, you are in our prayers.

Agreed. The 7ER in ATL is out of reserves. They GSWC at least on pilot today, and it appears, moved some MAC charters to find staffing.

Bar, I found your first officer for you there in this picture ^^^ but your plane only has 1 seat? Is this thing made by Airbus? That's like an Airbus trick right?
