Then write a resolution, and work the process. If the majority of the members (which are mainline pilots at national) agree, the structure changes.

Well you should. P2P is looking for pilots, your LEC Chairman is looking for volunteers at the LEC level. I say persistence pays off. If I counted the times I have been told No, I would be a rich man. It never deters me, and it should not deter you.

CHQ can do branded flying for F9 and us because they do not fly anything large enough to be in violation, and you know I am not trying to dodge anything. Also, its a map, not a contract.
Tell me, does Shuttle america fly anything larger than 76 seats for anyone else? |

Another issue, why does DAL continue to fund a competitor? Is it a double edged sword? Is it better to pay RAH to operate DCI flights on routes that compete with F9 in hopes of taking the revenue over F9, rather then use a different DCI carrier?
At the end of the day this language has not changed since the JPWA and we ratified it. We have to stop doing that. Read it. Understand it. |

They are international in nature and only ALPA has influence there. Fact! 15 years is a heck of a lot of time. If all you want is what is best for your and you do not leave it better than where it is at, then I understand. Fact is that we need to work towards unifying ourselves on the National front, and ALPA is the mechanism in which to do it, no matter how much you hate em. Ergo, fix it. |

No but Republic (another certificate) does, the 190 for F9, formerly MEH Connect.
So, what was your point with pointing out that Shuttle was omitted from the route map? squirmy squirmy ;) |

I also will ask a question for content.
Do you think it is wise strategically for those polling results to get out to the public, and to us? I say heck no, because then the company knows exactly where we are as a group and how to effectively marginalize us. They need to be kept secret. As for the second part, of the MEC meetings that I have witnessed, the Reps would take great offense to your assertion. These Reps know what they want, and sometimes that is in line with this or that, but the reality is they direct the MEC, and frankly that is the way this Administration's Master Chair sees it. These Reps are type A's and will not just rubber stamp everything. Call your reps. You elected them for a reason, and if this were to ever go on, I am very certain the majority of the MEC Reps would call BS, abet quietly and in closed session. Why? because somethings are better not aired to the public and to the company. ACL...I explained the distribution of the polling results, not to debate the need for confidentiality - which I certainly recognize - but merely to explain the process for those that are unfamiliar. You are obviously used to being on the defensive. My point was that the results aren't easily presented for thorough review. As to the second part, many LEC reps in the past have called BS...but often the TA has already been just that - "tentatively agreed" to. |

I did not say it made sense. Also our MEH code share agreement is over. If they connect to a F9 flight, we should check and see if there is an inter line agreement for baggage. If there is, dig deeper. Reality is that DAL will put the RJET jets where they make DAL the most money. (or lose the least :D )

Anyway, the UsAir E175's are configured to single class 86 seats. |
