I bought the uniform at my last company and then had to buy the Delta uniform. I guess that is the price of progress. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

3600, I am not sure how you guys distributed the shares but mine was figured as a 14 year 747-400 B.

Sure, it's a great terminal. But who really wants to spend one more second than they have to at an airport? Nobody is going to say "Boy, I'll spend an extra $10 bucks on a ticket out of JFK so when I spend 30 minutes of my life waiting it will be in Terminal "Jet Blue" instead of Terminal 2 or 3".

/rant off

The real problems of JFK are airspace, taxiways, general congestion, ATC and gawd-awful taxi times during the international pushes. That, and the potholes in the ramp areas . . . .

I agree with you about JFK's "real problems." I also think that it'd be unwise to invest heavily in a new terminal right now.

But flying is all about the curb-to-curb customer experience. That terminal is the first impression Delta makes on outbound customers, and it makes us look like a rinky-dink operation.

On another note, this heartache about how to alot new planes between N and S just goes to show how fences cause more pain than they're worth. There should be no fences: the SIL is out. Bid what you want and take what you can get.

Settle down jdmj

I was just replying to a post from a FNW that the $400.00 didn't cover the full cost of the uniform. Just pointing out that us "Southern" folks also had to pay. That's all. So to answer your question, no, it wasn't a budget breaker for me. Thanks for the concern though.

Nice one. if that isn't stirring the pot.
"replacement" is a weasel way to get onto all DALS planes. I wish are union was as crafty.
weasel.
weasel.

Shows how much you know. You do have the same union. And I believe you meant "our union". ;) :p

Take the time to move on. You can be happy. The SLI is over & all of our lives are effected by it. Your griping & childish name calling isn't going to change it.

Anyone? Can this be confirmed?

Official leather jackets were bought back, and donated to charity.

How were our April traffic numbers? Other carriers are reporting increases. Our stock is north of 7 bucks again.

And... it's not even a super premium widebody at that?

I would imagine that since it will be post SOC that any of this will appear on an AE:

If I were attempting to make everyone play fair, I would swap one 777-300 "staffing" for one 747-400 "staffing"...
The "PBS staffing formula" (or a straight percentage of the 772/773 aircraft staffed via that AE) would be used to determine how many 777 positions would be "reserved" for FNWA seniority numbers, and as per the JCBA, if all of the slots were not filled by FNWA pilots on that AE, then the next most senior FDAL pilot who placed a bid for a 777 position would be awarded the vacancy.

Not really that hard. There wouldn't be "separate" (i.e. FDAL 777/FNWA 777 ATL), it would be the ATL777, just like anyone else. There would only be the matter of who gets the awards. Just my opinion.
