Sorry I replied to this.

Yes I have - I flew a 6-day to FRA last month and passed through CVG. I will say though, the booze in those bottles at the bar tasted horrible.

Now that is funny! :)

To all thouse who doubt. The SLI is O-V-E-R.

We all got our numbers.

The only things left to fight about is:

-777 replacements for the -400
-777 replacements for the 787
-Something to do with the bunk beds in the 330
- and for some reason, hats.

Any other rumors to the contrary are false. It's over.

We have enough on our plates. (I don't like the Airbus and I really don't care about hats, so we are down to two in my book.)

In 5 years the other two will be gone. Please keep your stir sticks away from the pot. ;)

I heard from a good buddy of mine who has a corner cubicle on 4th floor and is pretty high up in management that the future of ALPA at Delta is in question.
Apparently a group of pilots from an "unamed base" are starting the process to decertify ALPA in exchange for a new in house union.
The new representative board will be known as the DN7BPA.
(Delta NYC 7ER B Pilot's Association)

"replacements"
Nice one. if that isn't stirring the pot.
"replacement" is a weasel way to get onto all DALS planes. I wish are union was as crafty.
weasel.
weasel.

That is why I see the fences being brought down.

How's NewK stirring the pot? If Dal takes the previous Nwa 787 orders and turns them into a great deal for 777 orders how's is that not a replacement when this would have only been available to Dal from the Nwa order? Thus, Dal would never have been able to negotiate a deal from Boeing without Nwa 787 order. Second, if Dal strong arms boeing and returns the leased 747 during a time period when Boeing would have trouble placing those aircraft elsewhere and gets another great deal for 777s from boeing then once again that would only be available because of what Nwa had. I could also bring up the opportunities that the Asia flying will bring etc.

Let's not stir the pot with name calling like "weasel". Nobody is trying to "weasel" anybody. The sli is done and name calling is not going to help our cause. No one is going to try and take over the 777s you have right now on your property or the orders you have on the books, however if Dal trades in the 400s for 777s you can't tell me that all the dal-n guys flying the 400 should go to smaller equipment while all the dal-s guys move to dtw and fly the 777s? You think that is fair? Come on, be real. And give NewK an apology. All he is trying to do is keep the peace here.

I really don't want to get in this furball.. but... which 777s would you give to the NWA side of the house, and which ones would go to DAL? Since DAL still has orders and options for the 777, so how would you determine which ones would then belong to the NWA pilots... especially since the 787 is still not a real airplane? And... it's not even a super premium widebody at that?

Sure, it's a great terminal.

Other than the fact that you can't park any widebodies there and there is no customs/immigration. JB uses terminal 4 for that.

newk, sorry I used the word weasel. I should have said creative application of ones union tactics to make a fence apply to only the DALS guys.
The truth is that I am jealous of your union tactics.
I wish we could have gotten alot more boeing planes, a pay raise, free uniforms, and been able to split our 2.5% betwwen alot less pilots. Maybe 2.0% between a group with 3000 fewer pilots. That .5 % really made up for the extra 3000 pilots DAL has
