Stupid question ... anyone know what's going on with one of our 737's that is covered up in IAD for the past couple of days?

What we have now are pretty much usless if you want to book a hotel or cruise vacation months out, to a nice location. You won't get on...
I get that. But pay us SWA plus reasonable premiums plus extra pay for larger planes plus bring thousands of jobs back to the bottom of our list plus give us more days off and better QOL and we could easily buy positive space tickets ourselves. We're walking over dollars to chase nickles with this one.

Like I said, cool idea, but ONLY after we take care of everything else. And Bolshevik rage aside, this is clearly one issue where we would be simultaneously negotiating on behalf of every single employee group because they will absolutely rage against the machine if we get that and they don't. Talk about misallocation of negotiating capital.

Me Neither.

I know what WE should be making, and it's about 70% more than we make now! So stop worrying about what the French make, and start saving for our job action. How do you think the French got those pay rates?

Not through Proactive Engagement...those guys know how to walk off the job!
Its not that I care and heck no I'm not moving to that collapsing nanny state. Fughedaboutit.

But it matters when our company says we can't get more favorable JV when their pilot costs are much higher than ours and we are tripping all over outselves making sure they get every single seat mile (or kilometer, whatever that is) they can possibly get.

A340 to Paris while we don't do that route? Give me a break.

The whole reason I moved from New Hampshire to Florida was because it took me and my family 2 days to get home from Disney World...using my Vacation Passes on DL.

I prefer NOT to go back to the airport on my Vacation. Now I just walk out in my backyard and pull up the mainsail, and I'm gone... on "Vacation" every day I'm off, when the wind is blowing. If it's not blowing, I'll have to mow the lawn.

Some say, "I would never commute!" and live 30 minutes from the ATL, and hope to get a Greenslip once in a while.

I prefer to live where I like, but within my means, and never have to worry about chasing the greenslips.

I dutch ovened that badboy on my last flight in the 737 last month. After weeks of effort, they finally had to air it out.

I know one guy last election that wanted to be that guy. He probably would still be willing to step in, because he wants to lead this group to a awesome contract, and then go fly the line and reap the rewards of a great Section 6.
Did he really say that? From what I heard is he was Lee Moak's inside job, hand picked, anointed, coronated, successor. No one else ever had a chance. Worse than that is what it says about the lemming Reps that played along with that scheme.
