Lets keep our fingers crossed!!

Time to open a new base. DFW sound good to anyone?

How about MIA or FLL? I think LAX is too small, needs to grow in a big way.

If we add a new subfleet, say 30 some E175s, then we would have to staff those.

DAL-N will publish its October APA in a few hours. It might hold some clues.

I'm all for FLL or MIA. Hell, even DFW would be awesome again.

The funny thing about the 30 E175's, wouldn't that pretty much take care of our overage? Wouldn't that put more (much needed) narrow body lift here at DAL? Wouldn't that just open the door for the E190/95's? :D

I like that idea. We should definitely run with it!;) Oh wait...?

Its funny how its such a win-win for everyone but yet it is held up by those whose seniority is such that they would never have to fly those jets anyways but they still don't want them here.

How very true.

It's the, "It's all about me syndrome". Is our Union looking out for the greater good of the pilot group? I'm just askin'? Okay, and maybe stirring the pot a little. Could anybody give me a hand?

Just saw the latest APA for DALN guys. 22 new positions as 744CA. Either awarded or Return to Duty. I thought we were parking some of these? Or is the PIRP working?

Also, more school house rumors to start from DGS guy.

1.) DAL will park a few 744's. Demand not there = less capacity
2.) DAL to sell a few 767-300's(DOM).
3.) Why do the dentures cost so much??

1) Correct. Might just be two. Might be all of em.

2) Yes, they want to park all of them in the near term. IMHO Dumb move. I love that jet. She gives great landings!

3) All old people get em ;)

Wow, good question New. I don't know if we have a maximum early check in. I've seen guys do it several hours prior. I don't commute though. Most of my CA's do and they get in 3-4 hours early on average. Some earlier if they're coming a long way. Maybe ACL knows...he's our sensei.

I have reported six hrs prior to sign in. Always remember that if the computer does not work, our handy dandy 800 VRU number gets a warm body that will sign you in. Lot of people just call from the car. Signing in on the computer was so last decade! ;)

Thanks Buzz. ACL, must be in study mode. :)

I do get out and fly occasionally. It is quite nice West of the Mississippi!
Study for what? I never study. It is so over rated......
