Great post. ALPA will decide their own fate with our next contract, period. If more jobs are conceded and the pay rates are not around SWA, then DPA will have very little work to do and ALPA will more than likely be toast. If however, ALPA holds the line on Scope and puts forth some respectable pay raises, DPA's road will be longer.

I agree that ALPA will decide their own fate. However, I think a lot of pilots have a very unrealistic idea of what this TA will bring. SWA rates will not happen.

Actually, I rethought this a little. Since you are such a tough guy, and yiou have outed me as management  Why don't you meet ME in person and say that to my face?

Tough Talk for a Sunday morning tsquare, while I don't agree with bacon and wear my uniform to include my hat, I don't think it's right for you to escalate the argument to the next level. What are you going to do if bacon shows up and you find out he was a golden gloves champ. Just sayin.....

I don't doubt that there are some disgusting things in hotel rooms, but if I paid heed to every gross flight attendant story I've heard about hotel rooms, I'd never even go in one without a hazmat suit.

Here's the latest one I heard... women use the coffee pots to rinse out their panty hose:eek:

After seeing plenty of my co-workers over the years dig for gold two knuckles deep and hide their new found treasure on the back of the yoke, I don't worry too much about a dirty remote in a hotel room.

Where in the he11 did you work! I thought I'd seen it all, thanguverymush, but that, sir, will dominate today's recurrent brain floater. Thank goodness I fly Airbus products.

I think the original posters point was to show an easy work around for the fluid stained and booger laden remote control. That said, I agree we are faced with disgusting things everyday in our lives as airline pilots. Howard Hughes, aka germiphobe, would be having panic attacks right now just talking about this.

Hats........HATS?!?!?!

We're 8964 pages and we're back on hats:D

I nominate FTB and his search skills to go back and find how many times we have kicked hats around.

I'm actually wearing my hat these days. I honestly think I look better with it on while wearing the jacket.......who knew, not me a year ago:eek:

Now don't get me started on short sleeve shirts with ties and no jacket:p

Ferd <-------golden gloves champ (ok, so that's a lie)

With that attitude they will most certainly not happen. :(
