Lets see. AMR just filed a petition for a hearing on extending their time for a reorganization plan for six more months. That hearing is March 22. We meet on the 13th. It may not be American but their actions and the actions of the Japanese government are compressing the companies timeline. (just two of many issues but two of the top issues) |

Sailing is correct it will be released to the pilots shortly after the company sees it. Do not expect to see hourly rates et al. It is a conceptual opener, and that means it has broad, but forceful points to it. |

Two take aways:
(1) If Company is wanting to get this done sooner, rather than later, that implies they have a positive forecast and think a deal could be done cheaper now, than later. (2) Or, they desire some sort of scope liberalization to get a deal done. That could be a small jet order, a fragmentation of AA, or something like Hawaiian. FWIW, Hawaiian makes as much sense as Alaska, at a whole lot more favorable price point. FWIW (note 2), it would not surprise me to learn the Reps are not completely read in on what the core of the MEC Admin has been working on. Not saying this is going on, just saying that a Moak style fait accompli would not surprise me. |

Or is it a brand new, full motion, computer driven, 3 axis, 6 hydrolic jacks, CGI visuals, etc. like the newer sims? If it's "Old School" they can probably unbolt it, load it on a truck, drive it to ATL and have it installed and up and running in about a week. |
