Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Coming through 20,000' or so I look over and decide to move it... that's when I realized it'd been headlong into about 2" of water. It took everything, and I mean everything, not to turn it on to see if it was okay.
I felt like I had one option which was to heat it up so I wedged it in the glareshield and the heated windshield and let it bake in the sun for the 2-3 hour flight.
It's worked for I guess 2-3 years now. I still think the camera is fuzzy but it's a 3Gs so that just may be how it is.
From experience the rice trick absolutely works. The hardest part is the not turning it on to see i it works now. You've just got to let it go.
Heyas,
Bar's messages are right on.
For some reason, some people have convinced themselves (or have allowed themselves to be convinced), that scope is a lost cause.
I'm going to given them the benefit of the doubt, and say they aren't truly bad people, but are acting on their feeling that if scope IS a lost cause, then it's best to extract some gains for other parts of the seniority list or other parts of the working agreement.
BUT, any give on that would be political suicide, at least at this stage of the game, with a restless pilot group, and a nacient organization waiting in the wings.
So, watch for a change in how the argument is framed.

Thinking of doing the same. Wife has the 4s and has had some trouble. Apple says they can't duplicate the problem and gave her an oh well. I have been looking at the note to replace my 3gs. I was worried with the size. Do you carry it in your pocket? Does the phone case make it much bigger? I like the size, just wandering if it would really be practical to keep in your pocket.

Could compromise with a Galaxy II S (or as Sprint calls it, "Epic 4G Touch).
Get them for free with new service through Amazon.
If you are thinking Sprint, might want to wait until the new EVO 4G LTE comes out next month. Not sure I'd want to go WiMax for two years right now. (for Apple users including "4G," LTE is about 20 times faster than your current data service, WiMax is 4 to 10 times faster)

I don't see this as a matter of economics. It is a matter of survival. Logically it follows that if ALPA fails to unify their pilots, ALPA itself will be the first to fail. By the time the DPA supporters figure out their plan is ineffective all will already be lost. The answer to preserve our union, our careers, our pay and "Delta Air Lines" as we know it is unity ... we have to get to Delta pilots performing Delta flying.

The size takes a week or so to get used to, but I can now text with one hand. I like the phone very much. I'm on reserve, so I enjoy the stylus pen and memo function. I take screenshots of my schedule coming off X days and make notes of no short call assignments. It's a nice function to be able to write on the screenshot. I also enjoy being able to access flash files, and I think the GPS/map function is better then on the iPhone 4. I'm enjoying the Android based phone so far, and my first 2 smartphones were both iPhones.

I love my iPhone 4S and have not had any problems with it. The processor is the same as the iPad 2, so it's faster than the original iPad that I own (and am also fully satisfied with). I do all my Delta stuff except Quarterly CQ on my iPhone.
