Oh really. Care to let a few facts be interjected? Here are the pay raises that have occurred at various airlines since 2008.

DAL: 18%
NWA: 26%
LUV: 7%
CAL: 2%
AMR: 1.5%
UAL: 1.5%
AAA: 0%

So, just who are you referring to?

What is the baseline on those pay increases btw? Is it all of the same time frame?

Here is one way to look at the numbers by looking at the actual numbers:

Good stuff. As I said before though, the payrate is just the multiplier that magnifies the rest of the contract. With the right work rules, $100/hour could be an improvement.

Several of those rates (multipliers) you published are part of contacts that significantly enhance their value to the pilots. FDX and SWA in particular. Our rates (multipliers) are solidly "middle of the road" when we (Delta) are making lots of money, largely due to our contributions, and are projected to make even more.

I'm interested to see the new payscale, but even more interested to see the work rules that will determine the value of our new rates (multipliers)

This is all separate in my mind from the scope discussion. If the scope's not there, none of this matters. If they have in fact negotiated Section 1, and have not agreed to Section 3, then I'm optimistic that we will not be selling scope for payrates (multipliers). Time will tell.

Ansett Australia?!?!

Saw AAA and was wondering the same thing.

I am a little irritated, so let me vent.

If, like sheep, we believe that the "given/survey" number is less than 30% or if it is truly a reflection of the majority of pilots here; then we work with a BUNCH OF SALLIES. IM DISGUSTED. We have no room to complain anymore.

Admit-tingly, I am losing a little faith in ALPA. These trial balloons are a direct tool to lower expectations.

Sailing,

Why exactly would you post this? If the decision was made not to let us know what the survey results were, I'm sure it's not exactly cool for you to post that info on a public forum.....

Plus, why exactly would we open at what we wanted? Wouldn't a decent negotiator open at survey minimum plus XX%?

It could be a BS number. It just lowered all of our expectations. Now, Alpa will come and say, "we negotiated successfully a 31% pay raise".

Slowplay,
You posted this back in July last year, as many of us were trying to make the DPA/ALPA decision. Do you still have the same confidence that scope is not for sale?

Pineapple Guy,
Do you still have complete confidence that DALPA isn't about to release a TA with relaxation in ANY area of scope?

But earlier leaks indicate we are selling work rules (giving the company more productivity which equals the need for less pilots going forward) for more pay. As you know, pay comes and goes, work rules rarely come back. Are you OK with worsening work rules as part of the package?

Was wondering the EXACT same thing

Thought we would compromise ourselves by divulging the survey results.

Sailing,
Not sure how you you came across this information, and why you would disclose it now?
