Its the junior airframe in one of the more junior bases. Even if they never added another one to the base or anywhere in the system their would be significant movement.

Many apologies if this has been answered previously, but if all the stars align and Delta comes calling...what's a realistic timeline to get Seattle based? SSN is 58XX, so I'm hoping for a 73N to start getting west ASAP. I've heard there is a chance to get LAX or SLC out of training. Any and all info is appreciated! Thanks.

Hard to say how senior it will go, but historically SEA has been a very senior base. The ER has been the smallest airplane there for a long time though, so having a narrowbody based there can't hurt.
LAX and SLC are finally starting to see some junior/Newhire-ish pilots getting in as well.

Also understand that there is typically a 6 month conversion window for each AE. You will be given a potential conversion date for planning sometime in that window but won't actually know the real date until approx 35 days prior.
For example, I was awarded SLC on the July AE right out of sim training. The results were announced the first week of Aug and I was told to expect Feb 1st for conversion. I will actually convert on Jan 1st (published on 28 nov conversion list).
All depends on your seniority and overall network/training plan.

We started taking delivery of the 717's around Sep of 13 give or take one month. We get 3 per month until all 88 are delivered. We should have about 48 to 51 onboard. That leaves around 36 to go. Keep in mind that the slots for aircraft coming the next few months have already been bid. 88 aircraft should easily support 4 bases. We had about the same amount of 737's prior to the merger with 5 bases.
Edit: there were 49 aircraft onboard as of The end of NOV. Deliveries do appear to be accelerated a little bit to 3 to 4 per month. Last delivery Dec of 15. At that point the A321 start arriving so narrow bodies should continue to increase.

My experience with family and kids looking in SLC TO MOVE, if you were not on the team it could be difficult. Not a slight only a reality...
Kids and family have social pressures and we determined it was too much... Maybe it was just us, but we had a hard time getting away from the cultural norms, just determined is was not for us...

Been in N Ogden for 18 months, non-traditional non-LDS family here....we've been welcomed with open arms. Our kids haven't had any issues at school or making friends. Very family oriented, patriotic quiet neighborhood and great friendly neighbors. Very decent cost if living, affordable housing, good school, non-existent crime and world class recreation year round. 45 min to work = Greenslip availability. Any questions PM me.
