I had a guaranteed interview through my regional, but failed PPL flight, CFII oral, T1 flight and another T1 oral. 2.8 gpa in history. So your stats certainly aren’t fatal whatsoever in an interview.

What is a sub 3.0 GPA? 2.0 or 2.95? You should be fine as long as your GPA wasn't low.

2.6 to be exact. I was working multiple jobs and trying to provide for my family. Also it took me 6 years to graduate college instead of 4.

Make sure all of this information is stated on your Airline Apps. Good luck.

I agree with AerCrewSolut.

With the guaranteed interview, you don't have THAT hurtle to overcome (getting the call).

Once you get in the room, it's all about telling the story. The fact that you were working while in school, providing for your family, makes the GPA and time almost a non-issue. Also, the checkride failure doesn't need to be a 'dinger' either; as long as you OWN it, LEARNED from it, and DIDN'T repeat the same mistake over; shows you're trainable.

Also, if those failures were long time ago, it shouldn’t be a issue.

There really isn’t a “typical” path anymore. Second careers, non-degree flight programs, guard/reserve, and various work/intern right seat gigs. If you’re motivated and have the times some airline will give you a shot in the next few years. They need pilots.

Without knowing the rest of your history, pretty decent.

That’s low time assuming you’re a civilian. Not impossible to get a call, though, as it’ll all depend on what else you can show on your application. Delta is all about points. The more you can add to the application, the more points you earn when it’s scored.
