Taken directly from FOM 11.6.1
• Tattoos must be covered and not visible

Interestingly, it was under grooming standards for males. There was nothing under the female grooming standards mentioning tattos. Looks like the FOM needs to be updated.

That might be a tough one. Seeing as how it's not uncommon for the ENTIRE country to be under severe clear conditions, and the regionals are underSWAP/IROP conditions due to their administrative inefficiencies.

Haven't even finished day 1 and the pattern/trip/pattern/ID/rotation/sequence is on it's 10-11-12th revision already. Seated in the plane, ready to go, only to be cancelled and told to head to another gate to do a completely different flight/overnight, etc.

Annnnnnywaaaaaaaaaays, back to hiring. It's like a date at an interview. Be on time, smile a lot, be upbeat/happy. Shine your shoes, brush/floss your teeth, make sure you don't smell, know when to talk and when to listen. When talking about about yourself be confident but not conceited or bragging, dont be negative/condescendig about anything or anybody, always speak positively about the past, end everyting with a positive outcome, make eye contact, sit up straight, be nice to everybody.

Not every regional is operated in an inefficent manner. But good to know that we will be blessed with your awesomeness soon.

I wasn't bragging/boasting of my (un/non)awesomeness. Just simply saying that in the constant decline/degradation of the lowest bidding outsourced vendor trend, they are simply not run as efficiently as they once were. Perfect example is XJT during the cost+10%/EVERTHING managed/run by CAL to the train wreck they say it is today.

Carry on.

190 pilots still on furlough having deferred recall previously. Big question is how many will come back when offered. Classes about 30/month starting in November. Flow ups from Compass and Mesaba also in the mix. Potentially, Delta would have no need to hire "off the street" until spring 2014. 25 B-717 F/O positions were unbid on last Advance Entitlement. Those will need to be filled with pilots not currently on the property. Stay tuned. Fluid situation.
