Just an observation, but based on your posting, why do YOU personally feel the need to watch it "very closely"? The process will sort itself out.
IIRC, you said there around 10-15% of the pilots at your former employer that weren't up to your personal standard. Chances are, that number can't even get through the app, let alone the interview process.
Whenever a pilot on the DAL list that DIDN'T go through the DAL interview process (Flow, NWA, Western, etc) screws something up, do you feel it's YOUR job to start watching them to?
Seriously man, you got the job, you won the race!!!! Congrats!!!!!!! If one that you personally find undesirable makes it through, will that be the end of the DAL hiring standard as we know it? There will ALWAYS be those that get through ANY process that maybe shouldn't have. It's out of YOUR personal control, why fret over it so much?

Watching out for those at Pinnacle that deserve the shot and those that should not be given the chance in front of them. They should not have to be junior to someone who didn't bother fulfilling the requirements or have relaxed scoring.

IMO, they then do a compare & contrast to see if you 1) you are too good to be true or 2) you've tried to game the test.

Depends on how one reads your post(s) on the subject. It could be said that you seem overall displeased with it.
And I agree with ALL THAT. Which is why I said let it sort itself out. Do you have inside knowledge that is hasn't thus far?
As far as your last point. That's happened SINCE there's been pilot hiring at a legacies. It can just take on various forms. Always been that way ALWAYS gonna be that way. No sense in feeling "butthurt" over it.

Hear hear. I find that offensive as well.
Funny how a slam on a more "peaceful" religion would immediately merit a barrage of defenses, but this one somehow gets a pass.
I'm not particularly religious, but I respect others' right to their choices without mocking the most sacred tenets.
