I believe you still fall in the Military category. I think your category is really based on how/where you started your training. I would think that a guy who separated from the service in 07, got stuck in a regional for 7 years due to timing, economy, recency, etc... Would still be considered Military at Delta since that is where your early career training occurred.

I don't think there is a magic number. I just got hired with 2,800 total (almost all PIC and all of it multi- turbine); however I was one of the low time guys of the 10 in my interview class hired.

I think you'll be in the sweet spot for hours. I got a DAL CJO last week with 3150 Total, 1850 PIC. (All Mil)

Definitely in the ballpark. Keep saving your leave so you can start terminal ASAP. At current rates, starting a class in June vs August could be 250 seniority numbers... but either way you'll likely still be well forward of the wave's crest.

According to the info DALPA released the low-time non-military guy was 2300TT. Is that accurate?

I had 2300 TT, regionals, Atlas and Air Force heavys
