Hey, any Air Force guys who interviewed, did the interviewers expect you to bring original form 8's and 942 from your FEF? The "what to bring" section of the invite doesn't say copies on the military document part. I'm wondering if Stan/Eval is gonna freak out if I try to take my FEF with me.

It actually says they require originals and copies of the following and then lists all the military documents.

They didn't ask for originals for my class. They'll have you prepare 2 sets of documents to hand in as soon as you arrive. One of those sets includes copies of all your Form 8's and 942s. I had the originals with me in case they asked for them but they never did. I'm not aware of anyone who was asked for originals. That said, I still brought them just to be sure I was covered since the email said to bring originals and copies as you mentioned.

Copies suffice, I did have my originals but they didn't use them.

I brought originals, because they said to, and copies. They collected them all in the morning, reviewed them before they called me into the panel interview, then gave everything back. I guess the copies were so each panel member had a copy to review.

Well, I just tried to get a reservation at the Hilton and told them it was for a Delta Interview. They said the best they could do was 149 a night. Bummer. Anybody else have any better ideas? Might have just been a busy week for them or something.

Most of the hotels on Virginia ave have shuttle service to the delta training center. Most are within a 10 minute walk too.

That's what I paid at the Hilton for the interview. Short walk to the guard shack and the van will drop you off across the street.

I used the renaissance inn just north of the hilton by a block. It worked well and was an easy walk.

4fans,
Welcome aboard. I had the same problem. Any hotel North of the airport will give you a ride to the interview. I stayed at the Westin. $80/night.
Check Crown Plaza, Holiday Inn, Westin, etc.
Also call them before making a reservation to check the van times to the interview. They all have scheduled van rides to Headqurters. The idea that Hilton is the only/best place is a myth.
Good luck.
