Maybe y'all can help me out on this one. I have had a Delta app soaking for quite a few months. I had an internal push for me and they reviewed my app but I'd forgotten to put my high school info in (rog, I know, attention to detail...). Anyhow, Delta sent me a "fix it" email last weekend and I immediately fixed the glitch. Since then, I've heard crickets.
My question is: if they send you a fix it email for something like that, is it likely you'll get any follow up contact or are you usually written off?

Right. I was simply pointing out the opposite ends of the spectrum between the 2. As in, "don't let people have the gouge" on one end to "let's tell people that don't get through a test how to answer it the second time" on the other. See what I'm saying?
Don't disagree with that......

I'm up to 3 yrs after the fix it email. My app has been soaking since 2008. Welcome to the wait club. I have learned in the last year or so not to have anyone send the special email to delta unless your app is 100%!! If they grade it and something is not right, you either get a fix it email or you just won't make the points and then you just bought yourself another year minimum before it gets scored again. Make it count.

I did just hear of one guy who's got an interview scheduled...in April!
This was last week, I don't know how long ago he sent in his app, but it sounds like they are running way behind in the interviewing scheduling.
Oh, BTW, I had sent Delta at least 6 apps before I got my interview, (one every 6 months) but that was before Al Gore invented the internet, I had to type out all 6 pages of each app, on an IBM Selectric, using white out for the fixes, in two feet of snow, up hill both ways!
Anyway, I get to the interview and the guy is asking me all these 'outdated' type questions like, "Well, what have you done since..."
I said, "Which application are you looking at?"
He had one of the earliest ones in his hand, about 3 years old! So I had to get him caught up on who/what/where I'd been flying for the past 3 years, (three different flying jobs) rendering my 5 most recent apps as wasted time!

So along those lines, my background includes 121 time and flight deck time running tests for Flight test (787-8,747-8,777,737). Is Delta looking for tech pilots? Are those opportunities available? Thanks in advance-
